About
Andres Saladrigas
Andres is a passionate coach, mental performance specialist, and
lifelong competitor with over a decade of experience helping athletes and
individuals unlock their potential—from the court to the classroom, and
beyond. A former collegiate volleyball player at Emmanuel College, Andres
has spent the last 10 years coaching both boys and girls volleyball, bringing
intensity, perspective, and purpose to every team he leads.
He currently co-runs Playeros Volleyball Club, where he develops athletes
on and off the court through competitive training, mentorship, and a
mindset-first approach.
His journey as an athlete extends beyond volleyball: he is also a 2nd-degree
black belt and a Junior Olympic gold medalist, achievements that reflect his
lifelong commitment to discipline, resilience, and performance at the
highest level.

Andres holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Performance Psychology. His professional path is rooted in understanding how people think, perform, and grow. He served as the Mental Performance Coach at Immaculata-La Salle High School for three years, building customized mental training programs for athletes across all sports. He then joined IMG Academy—one of the most prestigious sports institutions in the world—where he worked with 9 varsity teams, including elite boys’ soccer squads (16U MLS Next, 16U Premier, 19U UPSL) and 5 varsity baseball programs.

In addition to his work with high school and elite-level athletes, Andres has worked with a number of collegiate athletes across a wide range of sports, helping them navigate the mental demands of high-performance environments, injury recovery, competitive pressure, and personal growth.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andres also served as a psychosocial rehabilitation counselor, supporting individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, and other severe mental health challenges. That experience strengthened his belief in the power of compassion, consistency, and the human mind’s ability to adapt and overcome adversity.

Whether in sports, life, or mental health, Andres brings a holistic, performance-driven, and grounded approach to his work. His mission is to empower others through mindset, preparation, and perspective—helping them stay centered, compete with confidence, and perform with purpose.
